Featuring the participation of the Unites States Department of Health & Human Services, the AACC is offering a FREE, one-day OPIOID CRISIS specialized training for mental health leaders, pastors, coaches, lay helpers, concerned family members, community leaders and more.

The opioid epidemic has been declared a national emergency that resulted in 75% of the 64,000 overdose deaths last year alone. This is a problem that is impacting communities, churches, and families throughout the nation. No one entity can stem the tide… we must work together to help people recover from opioid addiction.

Continuing Education: 7 CE credits available for only $20. CE credit is available for this training through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). AACC is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. AACC is a co-sponsor of the training curriculum, and as a National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC) Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEPTM), AACC may award NBCC-approved clock hours for events or programs that meet NBCC requirements. AACC maintains responsibility for the content of this training curriculum. AACC also offers continuing education credit for play therapists through the Association for Play Therapy (APT Approved Provider #14-373) providing the training element is specifically applicable to the practice of play therapy. CE credits can ONLY be purchased on-site.
