“I have pastored churches in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania for 30 years. For most of those years, a large percentage of my week’s work has been triaging the needs of people in crisis. Some have been suicidal, many have been dealing with addictions, some have been facing marital stress or divorce, some have been engaging in self-cutting, many have been depressed, some have been diagnosed with bipolar or borderline personality disorder, and a few have dealt with dissociative identity disorder. All of these people attended the churches I have served. Mental healthcare is in epidemic need in Central Pennsylvania, which makes the equipping message of the Summit critical to our region.”
